Artist | Designer | entreprenuer

Ashley is a 30 year old fine artist and designer, born and raised in Orange County, CA. She earned her MFA in Design from California College of the Arts in San Francisco in 2017 and her BFA in Graphic Design from California State University Fullerton in 2015.

Her artwork centers around identity and the human body. She believes art can act as another form of communication and brings people together to share their stories when they may not have felt comfortable or listened to otherwise.

People around the world collect and showcase her art in their homes. Additionally, Ashley has exhibited her work in numerous galleries and shows, including in 2019 at Miami Art Basel at the Eduardo Lira Art Gallery, as a semi-finalist. Other exhibition show locations include Los Angeles, Long Beach, San Francisco, and North Carolina. In February 2020, she spoke on a panel about Colorism at the CAA Advancing Art & Design Annual Conference held in Chicago.

She is currently the Creative Lead of the Global Employer Brand Team at TikTok.

fostering the growth of young artists

"Not only is Ashley Adams a talented artist, but she makes sure to give back to young artists who want to develop their craft at a higher level. Ms. Adams donated pieces of her art for our first annual BIPOC art exhibition at our high school in 2022, which was hosted by Students Taking Action for Antiracism (STAAR). One of our students connected with Ms. Adams simply from seeing her art online. Because of Ms. Adams' generous donation, STAAR was able to raise several hundred dollars that went toward the purchase of art supplies for our students of color who participated in the art exhibition. Plus, she participated in an interview with one of our STAAR students to share her journey as an artist.

STAAR is currently planning our second annual BIPOC art exhibition, and we are excited that Ms. Adams is graciously donating her art again. Her art speaks for itself and our attendees loved her contributions. She continues to prove her commitment to fostering the growth of young artists by being a role model to our community."
